AJKU Muzaffarabad Admission 2023

The University of Azad Jammu Kashmeer AJKU Muzaffarabad has offered admissions for graduate and postgraduate classes during the fall semester of 2023 as they announce each year. The Registrar office has been issued Admission Notice/ Admission Schedule 2023 and 2022. A prospectus containing application forms for admission is issued and received by the office of Director Students Affairs Office, Muzaffarabad, and also from the local campuses at Kotli.

Students living around Muzaffarabad and Rawalakot area can collect and submit their application forms from the admission Director Students Affairs Office Muzaffarabad. Similarly, in Kotli and Rawalakot Campuses Deputy Director of Students Affairs will distribute and collect admission forms.

CSD and LSC

A Central Semester Desk (CSD) will assist candidates in the admission process. Local Semester Desk (LSD) will assist them at each campus adapting the following procedure for admission:

  1. Collection of Admission forms in CSD/ LSD.
  2. Scrutiny of documents and preparation of merit list by Admission Committee.
  3. Display of merit list by CSD/ LSD.
  4. Submission of fee

Central and Local Semester Desks will help students when they are collecting forms and submitting fees or register themselves for any semester.

The CSD will consist of the following counter to assist students:

  • Registration Counter
  • Exams Counter
  • Finance Counter
  • Bank Counter
  • Departmental Counter
  • Admission Office
  • Information Counter

Documents to be attached with the application form

Attested copies of the following certificates/ degrees should accompany the application:

  • Subject-wise marks certificates of the examinations passed.
  • Character certificate issued by College Principal/ Institution.
  • Migration certificate (if applicable).
  • State subject certificate (if applicable).
  • Domicile certificate.
  • National Identity Card.
  • Five Passport size Photographs.
  • No objection certificate in case of those serving in Govt. or any other Institution, from their employer.

Admission Procedure:-

The application must be sent on prescribed forms. The prospectus and application forms can be obtained from the Directorate of Students’ Affairs, AJK University Muzaffarabad. payment of Rs. 1200/- through HBL Challan available at Authorized branches in AJ&K.

Alternatively, by sending a Bank draft of Rs. 1300/- drawn in the name of Director Finance & Planning University of AJ&K. Candidate applying for more than one departments/category should deposit Rs. 400/- per additional form. Completed applications should reach the Directorate of Students’ Affairs at their concerned campuses not later than 04-10-2023 .

The application form is available on the University website www.ajku.edu.pk. The Bank Challan of Rs. 1200/- (HBL branches of the University) or Bank Draft of Rs. 1300/- must be attached with the Application Form. Otherwise, the form will not be entertained.

Note: Candidates have to deposit an Entry test fee of Rs. 500/- for the program where entry test is mandatory and will have to show the deposit slip at the time of Entry Test

Required Documents:-

  1. Attested copies of all educational Certificates.
  2. Character Certificate issued by the college last attended.
  3. Migration Certificate in case of Intermediate other than BISE Mirpur AJ&K.
  4. Two copies of each Domicile and State Subject Certificate.
  5. Two copies of the National Identity Card
  6. 4 recent passport size photographs.

Admission Schedule:-

The last date for receipt of application forms completed in all respects is 04-10-2023   up to 3:00 PM. Application received after the due date will not be entertained. Entrance Test Schedule:

  • 06-10-2023 at 09:00 AM for BS (Computer Science) and BS (Software Engineering), at 11:30 AM for BS (Electrical Engineering), and at 02:00 PM for BBA and BS (Medical Technologies) City Campus Muzaffarabad.
  • 06-10-2023 at 09:00 AM for BS (Computer Science) and BS (Information Technology) and at 02:00 PM for BBA, B. Com, and BS (Public Administration) at Kotli Campus.
  • 06-10-2023 at 09:00 AM for BS (Computer Science) at Neelum Campus (Athmuqam).
  • The first and Second Merit lists will be displayed on 22-10-2023 and 28-102013 respectively.
  • Admission fee and other dues will be deposited on 22-10-2023 to 25-10-2023 for 1 Merit List Candidates and 28-10-2023 to 01-11-2023 for 2nd Merit List Candidates. Interviews will be commenced on the date of display of the first and second merit lists. Candidates are required to bring original documents/ degrees for verification at the time of interview.
  • Commencement of classes at 04-11-2023 .

Late Admission

In case some seats fall vacant after the completion of the admission process, late admission may be offered to the candidate within the 3rd week after commencement of the semester. However, in such a case the student shall be responsible to make up any kind of deficiencies.
