Here Some HEC Approved Foreign Scholarship available for Pakistani Students Under follows.
1. HRD Initiative-MS Leading to PhD Program of Faculty Development for UESTPs / UETs
Detail of Scholarship:
Applications will be invited from outstanding Pakistani/AJK nationals for the award of scholarships in selected disciplines for higher studies Ms leading to PhD in European countries Germany, Italy, Austria and France etc and strengthening the faculty/both in numbers and quality, at existing Universities of Engineering & Technology (UETs) is in line with Government’s priorities to give emphasis to higher education.

2. Overseas Scholarships for MS/MPhil leading to PhD in selected fields Phase 2
Detail of Scholarship:
The project was approved by ECNEC in its meeting held on July 29, 2006 at a total cost of Rs.14522.35 million for a duration of 9 years. The scheme envisages PhD level training of 2000 scholars to be selected on merit, in the technologically advanced countries of the world. Every year 500 scholarships were to be awarded in any discipline so as to complete the intake in 4 years, while return of last batch of scholars will take another next 5 years.
3. International Research Support Initiative Program
Detail of Scholarship:Higher Education Commission of Pakistan is offering a six month research fellowship abroad to full time PhD students enrolled in Pakistan to enhance their research capabilities.
4. Partial Support for PhD Studies Abroad
Detail of Scholarship:HEC has launched a scheme to provide partial financial support to an approximate number of 50 teachers/researchers of public sector universities / degree awarding instillation as well as other Pakistani students who are in the final stages of their (respective) Ph. D. studies abroad.

5. Fulbright Scholarship Support Program (Masters / PhD Scholarships, USA)
Detail of Scholarship:
Education plays a key role in development of a country. To ensure development of the nation, a network of good educational institutions with qualified and well informed staff is needed. So that their institutions become capable of producing students/researchers who can effectively handle the multifaceted nature of work required to build a nation.Government has badly felt that need and while assessing the requirements of the newly established public sector Universities established at remote areas, Chairman ECNEC and Chairman HEC stressed at the development of a scholarship scheme especially designed for the uplift of these public sector institutions, so as to bring them at par with other universities and to fulfill Government promise of providing quality education for all.
