Public Prosecution Department established in civil secretariat of Punjab in 2005 to formulate the structure of Punjab Criminal Prosecution Service. Applications are now received in the Schedule.
Punjab Public Prosecution Department attach with two departments; OFFICE OF THE PROSECUTOR GENERAL PUNJAB, DIRECTORATE OF INSPECTION. After independence in 1947, Pakistan inherited British of criminal justice system. Under section 492 of Code of Criminal Procedure,1898 Provincial Government is empowered to appoint generally or for any class of cases in any local area one or more Public Prosecutors, Section 495 of the Code allows any police officer not below the rank prescribed by the Provincial Government who has not taken part in investigation of the case being tried by that court, to conduct prosecution.

Punjab Public Prosecution Department invites applications for the following positions on contract basis;
Designation:-
Database Administrator (Rs. 60,000/- lump sum) per month with 10% annual increment. Total post is one allowed.
AGE, EXPERIENCE, RESPONSIBILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS:-
AGE: – 35 Years of Age Maximum.
Qualification:-
16 Years of Education with a Degree in BSc Computer Science (4 Years) BCS (4 Years) or MSC (2 Years) MSC Computer Science, OCP/CCNA certification is pre requisite
Experience:-
Minimum 3 Years of relevant professional experience of Oracle/ Teradata, MS/ SQL on Solaris/ Windows / Linux.
