For the facility of all students, Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has updated its system, and now just like other major educational boards; the PEC 5th & 8th class result 2023 will be announced here on Friday 31 March. The most important responsibilities of the Punjab Examination Commission are to organize the annual examinations of the 5th class and 8th classes in all 36 districts of Punjab in a fair and transparent way. After the completion of examination, it is also responsible for announcing the result of these exams within the next two to three months. Since its establishment, PEC has achieved this goal with efficiency which has to help the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) in building the reputation of being an accurate, effective, efficient, and reliable department.
Since its establishment, Punjab Examination Commission has been organizing the 5th grade and 8th grade annual examinations in whole Punjab province on timely basis. Just like previous years, PEC had started the process of registration for the annual examination 2023 a few months earlier than the dates of examination. After the completion of the registration process, the authorized department of PEC checked the application forms, and any incomplete, late, or incorrectly filled forms were eliminated from the further process. Once the forms of all candidates had been verified, PEC issued announced the complete date sheet of the exams and also issued roll number slips to the students who were found eligible for appearing in the 5th and 8th class annual examinations.
This year, the annual examinations of both the 5th and 8th classes were conducted during the month of February. First, the exams of the 5th class were held which started on 6th February 2023 and continued till 10th February 2023. Once the 5th class exams had concluded, the 8th class examination had started from 11th February 2023 which were finished on 14th February 2023. Although the annual exams of 5th class and 8th class were held on different dates the result of both 5th grade and 8th grade will be declared on the same date. According to the announcement made by the official authority of the Punjab Examination Commission (PEC), the 5th and 8th class annual examinations, 2023 result will be declared on 31st March 2023.

The result of all 36 districts of Punjab including Khushab, Kasur, Lahore, Gujrat, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Faisalabad, Muzaffargarh, Chiniot, Bhakkar, Sahiwal, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Toba Tek Singh, Rajanpur, Rawalpindi, Mianwali, Mandi Bahauddin, Vehari, Jhelum, Chakwal, Narowal, Nankana Sahib, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Jhang Okara, Pakpattan, Sialkot, Attock, Multan, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Bahawalnagar and Lodhran will be declared on 31st March 2023 at 10:00 am.
So all students will be able to check their complete result with subject wise marks by entering their Name, Roll Number and District Name instead of the old method in which result was made available online in large PDF files and students had to download the files and search within them to find their PEC 5th and 8th class result. This is an extremely good step taken by Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) it is a more convenient and easy method of checking the result as compared to the old one.
