Nadra National Data base and Registration Authority Ministry of Interior Government Pakistan is has launched the National Smart ID Card With the accidental death Insurance of Rs. 100,000/- for 2 years. Nadra Department is proud to introduce state-of-the-art Information Technology (IT) based Smart National ID Card  (SNIC) to give you an experience of a Hi-Tech security solution for protection of your identity.

No documents are demanded from illiterate applicant for age verification for first time. Residents of FATA/ PATA will only be entertained at their native DAUs and their forms will be attested by concerned PA/ APA. Nadra Smart SNIC Card Detailed Application Procedure:

• Data Acquisition at Data Acquisition Unit (DAU)
  1. Issuance of Token
  2. Photo Capturing
  3. Thumb and Signatures
  4. Data Acquisition by DEO
  5. Form Printing
  6. Attestation & Form Submission
• Data uploading to NADRA Data Warehouse
• Verification and Clearance from NADRA Data Warehouse
• Printing at Production
• Delivery of SNIC to NSRC

Documentation Requirements For the SNIC SMART NATIONAL ID CARD:

A SNIC applicant is required to produce the following documents at the time of application:

• Birth Certificate or
• Old CNIC or
• Matriculation Certificate or
• SNICs of immediate/blood relatives
• Citizenship certificate issued by MOI

Services:

NSRCs provide the following services for SNIC;

• Issuance of new SNIC
• Modification of SNIC
• Duplicate of SNIC
• Correction of Official Mistake in SNIC
• Cancellation of SNIC (In case of death).

• Normal – 30 days
• Urgent – 15 days
• Fast Track – 15 Days (Queue priority at NSRCs for immediate processing)
