Eligibility 8th class/ O Levels:

Conditions of eligibility for admission are as under:
Age: The candidate must not be over 14 and under 12 years of age on 1st April of the year of Entry i.e. on 1st April 2017-2024 this time. No relaxation of age, even a single day, is permissible.
Educational Standard: The candidate must have passed Class-7 or equivalent by 1st April of the year of Entry. Those studying in Class VII currently, can apply.

Cadet Colleges In Pakistan Admission Announcement:

Written Test:

An open competitive examination comprising three papers (Mathematics, English, and Urdu-Islamiyat) is held in December every year at these centers:

Jeddah and Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Sharjah (U.A.E.), Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Karachi, Quetta.
Each paper is of 1½ hours in duration.
Mathematics paper is different for the Matriculation Course and GCE ‘O’ Level Course.
Urdu-Islamiyat Paper is compulsory, and no alternative subject is allowed.
Candidates from overseas countries must qualify in this paper.
Islamiyat paper may be attempted in English as well.
The syllabus for the Admission Test is given in Appendix ‘A’ in the Prospectus.
The Entrance Test for the College is a competitive examination. The syllabus given in the Prospectus is meant for the general guidance of the candidates and any question considered suitable can be set in any Paper in any form.

Interviews and Medical Exams Test Dates

The candidates who qualify in the Written Examination are required to appear for the Interview and Medical Examination at the centers mentioned above after the announcement of the result. Candidates at Riyadh and Sharjah Centers are interviewed on the day after the written test.

Their medical examination is done at the College before joining. Only those candidates who are found medically fit are considered for admission. Places are offered on the results of the tests/interviews in order of merit. The results are strictly confidential, and no correspondence is entertained in this connection. Successful candidates join the college in the last week of April/the First week of May.

Eligibility First Year/ A Level’s:

The last date to apply is normally 15th June each year and the Entry Test is held in the 1st week of July. Those who qualify for the written exam will be interviewed in August. The new entrants will join the college during the last week of August.

Eligibility:

Only those candidates who obtain 80% marks (Grade A-I) or more in the Board Matriculation Examination (or equivalent) for F.Sc. and at least 6A in O-Level for joining A-Level are eligible to appear in the written examination.
If Board Results are not declared by that time then the Result Card of Class 9 and a Hope Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended, for obtaining more than 80% marks, may be attached.

Written Examination:

The Written Examination is held at Respective Cadet College, in the 1st week of August normally. There is no other exam center in any city for this entrance exam. It comprises the following four papers based on the Matriculation syllabus:

English: 1 hour 30 minutes
Mathematics or Biology: 1 hour 30 minutes
Chemistry & Physics: 2 hours

Interview & Medical Exams (Tests):

Those who qualify for the Written Examination are interviewed after the announcement of the results. Medical Examination is also conducted on the same day.
