A large number of students appearing in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination are without their roll number slips despite the fact that their papers are scheduled to start tomorrow.
Worried students are knocking all doors to get resolved their problems for appearing in the SSC examination being held under the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education. A large number of students and their parents approached the board office to get their roll number slips, while many received slips with errors.

Talking to reporters many parents said that the new online system has created problems for students. Earlier, students faced problems in submitting their registration forms and now they were facing the problem of roll number slips. “The concerned authorities should take action against the board administration,” they said.
Zaman Shah, a father, said that his son has received his roll number slip with an error. “I contacted the board office for removal of the error. Thousands of students are facing problems because of the negligence of the board officials,” he said. “The use of technology is good and the introduction of online system is a good effort by the board, but first of all they should give proper training to their staff members so that they can perform their work well,” he added.
Official spokesman of the board, Arsalan Cheema said that all record has been computerized. Students are facing problems because they do not know how to download their roll number slips. He said those students, who do not have the internet facility, could collect their roll number slips from schools in their areas, he added.
