STEM Career Program to Join Pakistan Olympiad Team
A Joint venture of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS) for grooming talented Pakistani students for careers in Science, Technology, and Engineering Mathematics (STEM). This year all four teams showed excellent performance altogether winning one Silver, Four Bronze Medals, and two Honorable Mentions in these events. The International Science Olympiads are unique competitions organized to discover and encourage young talented students from all over the world.
Golden opportunity for joining the Pakistan Olympiad teams (2023) for participation in the 46th International Chemistry Olympiad in VIETNAM, the 55th International Mathematical Olympiad in SOUTH AFRICA, the 25th International Biology Olympiad in INDONESIA, the 45th International Physics Olympiad in SLOVENIA through 10th national Science talent contest (NSTC-10).
STEM Career Program to Join Pakistan Olympiad Team
Eligibility for applying:
- You are eligible for the contest to become a member of one of the four Pakistani teams for the International Olympiads if you have scored an aggregate of 70% or more marks n core subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics of Metric/O-level.
- 1st year F. Sc. /A-level Student (i.e. will be taking part-II exam in May- June 2023).
- Age not more than 20 years and will not be enrolled in any university on 30th June 2023.
- Exceptionally bright younger students of Metric / O-Level are also eligible to apply.
Please note that those students who are currently studying in F.Sc. Part-2/A-level Part-2 or
equivalent are not eligible to apply.
Further grooming and screening through a series of training camps at the following home institutions of each subject will lead to the selection of 4-6 member student teams for the Olympiads in the year of 2023.
